Proof of Fund Question

What if the bank statement for the last 6 month has more than 40+ pages, is there an efficient way to show the fund without printing and scanning 40 pages?

What do CIC look for exactly in a bank statement?

Will the application rejected if I provide a brief bank summary page with balance in and out for every month? Rather than detailed transaction for the last 6 months.

Example:
Month ............. Balance In ............. Balance Out

January .................. $ 1500 ............... $1000
February ................... $ 1800 ................. $700

etc....

If your bank can generate a letter with the average balance of the past 6 months, no statement is required. Talk to your bank first.

CIC need to see that someone hasn't lent you the money temporarily so that you pass the funds requirement. This means no unexplained big credits that bring you over your funds requirement.

You must go to your bank. If they cant help, you must show this in writing in your LoE (add their letter/email in your LoE). In this case, try to show the month end balances for each of the last 6 months, and also show the total credits and debits. any very large debit or credits, upload the statement page and explain the transaction.

Every extra bit of detail you add should help. But go to your bank first.
