So I was sponsored by my ex husband back in 2017 but unfortunately just after living 5 months together we get divorced as of domestic violence now I want to re marry so when I can sponsor my husband to Canada.

Just your spouse. You can sponsor your mother if you meet the income requirements and are selected.

Unfortunately these are the rules to deter immigration fraud. It would be too easy if a spouse who was sponsored arrived in Canada and got divorced soon after and then got remarried and was allowed to sponsor their new spouse right away.

Hello, I was previously sponsored by my wife and became a PR of Canada last month (spouse sponsorship). I know that I am not able to sponsor another spouse for 5 years as my wife can't for 3.

Now, my wife and I want to be a part of a Group of Five Sponsorship to sponsor a refugee( my brother seeking refugee protection in Croatia).

Can we be a part of the 5 sponsor members or the 5-3 year ban applies to us?

In that case you have to wait three years from the time he became a PR before you can sponsor anyone else.

When did he land in Canada and officially become a PR?
