I submitted my study permit application on 30/9/2023 from Iran, and biometrics were completed on 7/10/2023.
Here's what I found on my GCMS notes:
3 weeks after biometrics completion, on 27/10/2023, visa office sent an inquiry to UNB to verify my LOA.
In my GCMS note, under the section "other reqs" it was stated that this inquiry from UNB was completed 3 months later on 24/1/2024, and since then nothing has happened.
It's been almost 5 months and all this time my status was recommended interview for eligibility, is this normal? Is there anything that I can do for it? Btw, I submitted my application before the new LOA verification system law for international students, so they did that manually.
Here is my details:
23 y.o.
B.sc. applying for first M.Sc. with supervision, no gap, both degrees are the same field, no military service
From Iran, acceptance from UNB with funding, all my financial documents are sufficient based on new expenses estimates from IRCC
