Unlike last year, I reckon there are more candidates with ~450+ this year. With the new changes, the cutoff will definitely be 470'sh (considering the fact that 2000+ ITAs being issued in previous draws with only a point or 2 difference).

A lot of people have this fear at first. You add other work history AFTER ita, in your personal history where you list what you have been doing. Just list your skilled work experience and then once you get your ita you just have to prove those. You're all good to go.

I ended up calling a few consultant firms and lawyers the general consensus seems that it doesn't matter if i leave it in there since I am not going to get any points anyways, and I can omit it too. So since omitting it is causing me so much uneasiness, I guess i'll leave it in. If anything, if they need me to prove it ill be able to get a letter from work.

It's been around 14 hours since I created the profile and registered with the job bank, it still says

Application/profile status: Pending Additional Criteria
Job Bank Registration: Pending
Review of Minimum Entry Criteria: Met

I see no points under any category, however it does say "met" for CEC and i did get the secure message saying I was in the pool. I take it the points should show up and profile should be active by tomorrow right?

Have you registered for job bank already? (Used the code they gave you?)

You're gonna be ok dude! You sound like a very honest and paperwork positive freak like me. Hang tight and you'll get an email update at or around the 24 hour mark.
As for the job stuff, I agree with you. I have even left my partners foreign work experience in his spouse section as although it gets 0 points, we do have enough proof and I want to give the officer the impression we are skilled workers! (He's an aeronautical engineer but worked as a carpark maintainance guy when we travelled Canada). 90% of my work experience isn't in my profile anymore though.

I have had the same doubt on this issue and after consulting so many professionals, I was told to put the experience for which I can account for. Like I worked several part time jobs that I declared in the employment history section for my work permit application but I didn't put it in EE profile because it is meant for skilled full time experience for which we can find a correct NOC code.

I didnt even put 8 months of work experience that I had done before coming to Canada because I wouldnt have got any points + my experience letter says it was for a trainee position etc so decided not to create any doubts in future.

Mine is 473 but i get a feeling that next draw would be 490+, because 15/30 points increase is for all the students that studied in Canada and other candidates who had LMIA would now fall under 450+ range as well. So it ll be much tighter competition now and points might drop even slowly for the successive draws.

please share your thoughts (hope for candidates specially without Canadian Education, Experience, PNP and Job offer .....

all analysis are based on 2015 data..

in 2015 out of total 31063 invited candidates around 14500 (18570-3960) had job offer.... and out of 14500 only around 3400 candidate had core CRS score above 400....it means 11100 (around 34% of total invitation issued) candidates were with core CRS less than 400....suppose in 2016 situation remains same (atleast in percentage) this gap 34% (11000 out of 31063) will give opportunity to students to get selected...

Now in 2015 out of total 31063 invitation issued 22% (around 4600) were the candidates who ever had study permit.....in worst case scenario lets suppose all possessed more than one year Canadian education. and for sure most of them had job offer and PNP also....

And now from around 60000 profile of uninvited candidates only 13% possessed study permit ever as of 3rd Jan 2016....(and again lets suppose all possessed more than one year Canadian education) which mean they are not more than 8000 and again suppose all of them get invitation to fill the gap of 11100 with remaining around 3100 to be filled by candidate without Canadian education, experience, PNP and job offer..

Again assuming 2016 numbers are same...around 3100 (in other words 10% of total invitations) more candidate (without Canadian education, experience, PNP and job offer.) will get the chance to get invitation in up coming month (to be precise 12 months). and ofcourse they will belong to CRS range between 400-470..

Scores will come down in 2017. As CIC will issue more than ever ITAs in 2017. And in their refocusing express entry report of May 2016 they clearly mentioned that the biggest flaw of EE for stakeholders is that the points are not coming below 450. Which is the point to improve on and the report said that reducing the points for LMIAs will put huge downward pressure on the score.

These changes are made in view to get the scores down because EE stakeholders want it. So the scores will go down.
