451 points, OOPNP Invite, what to do now need help

Hey Guys,

I am in a situation like many of you.

Got EE points 451 and received OOPNP invite like on 6th June.

Looking at 11th cut off at 469 and days passing by, what should i do ?

I had a word with HDFC they said once you send the DD it has a validity of 3 months and you need hard copy to get refund other alternatives they are trying to find out.

For me $1500 CAD is a big thing and i already lost my PNP application (funds) once due to 12 month stay concern.

What do you think should i wait for scores to drop or file up for OOPNP ?

need your ideas here may be some of you are in same situation, what are you doing ?

But i m decided to apply for OOPNP for sure... becaz i dont rely on this draws and express entry and cant be so patient looking at this forum always.
may be it will go up again if they wait for another month... anyways this is my personal opinion.
if not worried abt 1500$ worth to apply OOPNP...
and grab the opportunity which ever comes first...

My score will be 459 by mid July after my Master ECA is received. However, I have applied for OOPNP.

I will advice you do same o! I pray the score goes further down and we are invited in the 12th draw.....we can only hope, pray and wait!

I understand your point here but again OOPNP is a matter of almost 3-4 months before anything is decided.

Are you from India ? how are you paying the fees for the same ?

According to draw guesses, it should come down soon but my invite will expire after that (opportunity loss).

Actually, only you can answer the question. How important the Canadian dream is for you? If it is more important than 1500 CAD, then you should take gamble.

I am at 462, no PT yet, profile recreated just before the 10th draw, no PT whatsoever. If I was you, I would go ahead with onpnp just to be on the safe side. Look at the bigger picture, spend $1500, u can always earn it back in no time once u get PR! The question is 'how desperate r u to make Canada ur home? And only u can answer that!
Be happy that u still have the option of onpnp.

At 454, I am waiting for another draw. OOPNP interest letter was received on 9th, so I think definitely one more draw will happen before my time runs out to send documents. Not that I care so much about 1500, but it will limit my chances if I have to find job in ON only upon receiving PNP nomination, from outside. Will take a gamble here, lets see.

From my point 3 to 4 months wait not at all matter.
There are people waiting for years to get here..
last cec application , I got it back because of cap reached.
now I had to Wait to get just PT 6 months staying in canada.

I would say grab which ever comes first... 1500 $ u ll not remember even once u got the PT.
and fyi, there s some one Amsterdam in other thread he got nomination in a week from ON.

I'm on 453 and not gonna wait more.. i ll go for OOPNP and started preparing my papers.. waste of time waiting and i'm not expecting the score to come lower than that..

$1,500 is really almost nothing compared to what you could gain by migrating to Canada. It's definitely worth a shot.

I am also prepping up my package i have this question -

I was reading the steps for Education .

If you have a Canadian degree, provide the following documentation:
o A certified true copy of your degree granted from an academic institution
in Canada; AND
o Official transcripts submitted by you in the original sealed envelope from
the academic institution in Canada that granted the degree.

I have my degree so i can certify that but what to do with OFFICIAL transcripts ?

Should i order transcripts to my home and then submit it ? How should i go about it.
