What should do ?

A friend of mine, applied & filed for the Alberta’s worker expression of interest wherein he made a mistake by ticking yes on regulated job during application which is actually not regulated job. He recently received invitation to apply for AAIP.

If he still manages to remove the regulated job offer points (i.e, 10 points) then he is still at cut off.

What should he do in this situation, should he reach out to AAIP and admit his genuine mistake which was due to a misunderstanding.

Please help us with your suggestion and let us know if you have experienced similar situation before.

Your help is truly appreciated and it will help us a lot.

Thanks in advance.

Post questions under Provincial nomination program. Tell friend to contact AAIP.

Best chance is likely to contact AAIP about the error versus them discovering it and potentially refusing the application right away based on that. What Alberta will do is tough to predict especially with limited information.
