Hi all. :)

I have a question. at the moment I have 413 points .My profile is about to expire on September. Im not really sure the score will decrease any time soon so i was thinking about going back to Canada to study again in order to get more points. so this is my situation:

Im 27 years old. I did a Postgraduate Degree in Toronto and after that i got the PGWP. I didnt have in that moment money enough to pay again to remain as a international student in Canada. How do I know the program that im planning to study will give me points? The program that i found is called College and Internship. is a ONE year Diploma program through Stepwest. its 50% study and 50% no-paid internship. its says on the website that with that study permit I am able to work legally 20 hours p/week.I confirmed the possibility to get that study permit o the CIC Website.and on the website they actually name STEPWEST. thats how I go to them. the program is based in Vancouver. How do I know that this program will actually give me points for EE.? and would it give me points even if I already did a program there? And will after that time still my profile be available to apply to the residence?

Thank you for your help!

From where are you expecting to get more points given for example work whilst studying does not count as far as i am aware for work experience and adding another diploma unlikely to get you anywhere near the current points cutoff from a 413 start point. Any room to improve your language scores?

Gaining an extra diploma may qualify you for "Two or more degrees..." which may increase your points.
The 20 hours p/w that you're able to work while studying will not help you gain points in EE, as work done while studying in Canada cannot be claimed for work experience.

It may qualify you for another PGWP, though. And work done on your PGWP, after you've finished studying, will count towards your EE points.

PGWP is a one time thing cannot apply for more than one

Hi. The fact is, your Stepwest training/experience will give additional point for the Level of education. (2 or more certificates). It cannot be add as Canadian experience since work should be full-time and for a student permit holder, you can only be allowed to work for 20 hrs per week which is a part-time job.
