419 - hoping that i will get ITA this coming draw as ill be 33 on the next draw and my CRS will drop by 8 points. someone posted that there are only a total of 25 applicants with a score between 420-453. i hope that's true, because if it is then they'll be dropping the score even lower.

Yes, that's right. 25 applicants in 420-453 range. (26 with you)
And 48 applicants total in the Express Entry pool with any score.
And Santa Claus exists

Hi guys just a general question. How do you know this stuff? My understanding is that there is no way of knowing how many people in the pool let alone how many people at each level of points. For all we know there are 30,000 between 425 and 452?

30,000ppl its pretty much the quota already for 2015 adding the 6000+ITA issued by now. that would mean not even 400 will make it this year.

The question remains, how are people so certain about the numbers in the pool. Pool changes everyday with new people joining etc. I'm just trying to understand how people can make such confident statements about the number of people at each points level. Is there a site I can go to that gives this data ?

These are all speculations, there's no official website or anything that you can get accurate numbers. Some people extrapolate the number of people in the EE spreadsheet and come up with those numbers, which are in no way accurate.

No one knows how many in the pool , we were tying to match the validation Code last few numbers, comparing January 1st til March 30th applicant.. apparently there might be way more than 60,000 + ,however, it is vague .. I guess just wait for draws will clarify the scenario.
