Hi bro, can we put our inquiry about background check directly to CSIS? Are you planning to order CAIPS notes, whether it will serve some purpose at this stage.
One of my friend told me that some one got visa after 8 months submitting passport.....so it is really frustrating....

Guys its not far away now,lets not make any wrong decisions at this point of time. We have waited for so long and know we are very close.The good thing is that we have support of each other which will make this phase a little easy.

PPS7, I have a FTH but have not been to Canada and time spent is US is less than 6 months. I am at home for last 3 months, nearly left my job on Cruise and doing nothing at home which is equally frustating.I know one thing I will go to Canada and infact all of us who have been waiting for so long, let them check what they have to as we know that we have nothing to fear when it comes to security check.

Each passing day is like a month and each passing hour is like a day now.

But have full faith in GOD as he will get us through.

What have you asked? I am not sure if we can ask CSIS directly about background checks on our case. I was planning on ordering CAIPS earlier but then after reading about it, was just wondering what difference would that make Not that it'll expedite our cases, still need to wait n wait n wait ......

I am not sure that CSIS will answer any query. CAIPS will just indicate that the background process is on. Really dont know how to find out whats happening and how much time will it take.

We can not do any thing except to wait......Security clearance is to check for terrorist activities, espionage and subversion.......so i donot think we should have any problem......it just delay in our case......so guys relax and at-least try to enjoy our time.
