4 months since medicals done but no reply yet. Disappointing !!!!!

Hi Adi & SG,

Guys do you think I should look for alternative here in India.....As i am unemployed right now........I am worried about CHC decision and they are also not telling us any time frame to complete this stage. My mind is just blocked and do not know what to do, as security clearance can take up to a year? From three and half month i am waiting.......or do you suggest to wait more?

@SG......have you got any response for your email?

Guys i want to understand one thing here... usually people say wait for monday... i want to understand is it just the monday when status changes... cos in the cicwebsite they have written that status gets updated every tuesday... moreover if i dont get any update on monday.. does it mean that rest of the days i will not get any update....or if nothing happens on monday still there is a possibility that next 4 days might bring in something for me...

No reply from them yet. Whats your NOC code? I would advice you to pick up a job or atleast join some traning to keep your self busy.

They usually update their servers once a week. Please keep in mind that its a global page and not local to any particular CHC, so your tuesday evening could be someone else monday afternoon and vice versa. Difference in timezones, now the site does'nt mention any timezone. What I have seen in India is, earlier the change in status if any used to get reflected by monday mid night or tuesday early morning India time but now a days (past 2-3 months) people see changes by monday evening around 5:30 - 06:00 PM.

Comming to your other point, If there is any change in status it is followed by an written communication by local CHC usually return of passport, medical instruction etc etc. Now consider this, there was no change in your status this monday but there is a change in your status today (Tuesday) or tomorrow or say even thursday and they send you a mail communication which you may receive either before or by next monday or after monday, so in the first case you have received a reply before the status changed got reflected and in the latter case the site got updated before you got an reply.

It all depends on which day of the week the status changes + after how much time did they mail you the communication + postal timing, if all this falls before monday, then you get the result before the actual status change is reflected on their site else you will see the status change first and then the communication.

Same here buddy I too am unemployed, at this time I thought would get through early. Seriously I am gong to look for the job as sitting at hom is getting on to my nerves. Have a housing loan which is making it evn more difficult. where are you from? u can mail me on adigupta99@yahoo.com so that we can chat.No replies from CHC about case specific enquiry.It is really getting very very difficult at this point of time.

I have also seen these stats earlier, applicant can contact CSIS director for their status and they will give you answer in 30 days...........
SG i think you should wait for this month as it is your 5th month, then you can shoot a mail to director and they will just tell you that your file is in process or completed.
@ADI you can send me pvt msg buddy.....

It is so frustrating that every one are getting visa in 30 days and we are waiting for months..........

Thats a good site, it indicates that cases have been reviewed in decent time frame, so why is it taking so long???????

No response from them....CHC has asked for my passport, fee and medical at one GO....
How would i come to know whether they have received My Medicals or not... Medical is to be sent by the Hospital.....

I don't think CHC-New Delhi will change the status to Medicals rcvd. It'll change from in process to decision made, we rcvd your medicals on bhal bhal date etc etc ...
You can ask your DMP from where you have got your medicals done and also ask CHC-New Delhi to confirm receipt of Medicals and Passports. I did that and got a reply in 2 days confirming the same.

i have asked my DMP to give me the invoice number , which they had given me... i have also written to CHC to confirm if they have received the passports,DD and Medicals or Not....However no reply from them....its been 15 days i have written to them....

I got response after 25 days of email.....So donot worry about medical and passport it must reached there, you can track them on the courier site.....It is security check that is going on in your case too.....So keep finger crossed.
