I am waiting for ielts result, will be declared on 16th. I haven't applied to any college but I wanted to know whether 33 marks can be a problem for offer letter and ultimately for study visa?

I have overall 57% in 12th and 82/100 in english (non-medical stream)

my 10th grades were ~80% in allmost all subjects.

So how much stressful situation i am?

You will get an offer letter but you will have problems in your visa. Share your marks in each subjects and choose a course not related to maths.

I want to apply for Computer system technology - Software development and networking in Sheridan college, its a 3 year advance diploma with co-op.

Im not weak in programming and i know i have to convince the VO in sop about this.

So do you think i should apply for this course or another and transfer this course later when i have gotten my visa.

Do you think a good IELTS score would help me in visa if i get 7+ bands?

thanks,
harv

No you should not apply for that course. Your scores are very well and the chance of visa if you apply for that course is very less. I would suggest you to go for hotel management or something like that.

But I don't want to study hostel management, what if i explain in SOP the reasons for low marks. Would that be a good choice. I know its risky but still

Well. According to me, your marks are VERY less. I am pretty sure that an explanation wouldn't do much. Plus that course is an advanced diploma which will do no good but increase chances of rejection. If you want to do that particular course then I would suggest you to first do a bachelor degree and then apply. I would also suggest you to consult an immigration lawyer who will tell you much better than me. Make sure to consult an ICCRC lawyer only.

That course is for high school cleared students. Anyways thanks I'll look into that.

Bro not confirm... because for sept intake thr r many cases i have seen on this forum... visa is rejected on the basis of less percentage or less marks in main subjects... but It also depend on luck...
