I am waiting for ielts result, will be declared on 16th. I haven't applied to any college but I wanted to know whether 33 marks can be a problem for offer letter and ultimately for study visa?

I have overall 57% in 12th and 82/100 in english (non-medical stream)

my 10th grades were ~80% in allmost all subjects.

So how much stressful situation i am?
Di u get the admission bro?? Reacched canada?

Maths - 33/100
Chemistry -59/100
Physics - 57/100
English - 82/100
Physical Education - 60/100

I want to apply for Computer system technology - Software development and networking in Sheridan college, its a 3 year advance diploma with co-op.

Im not weak in programming and i know i have to convince the VO in sop about this.

So do you think i should apply for this course or another and transfer this course later when i have gotten my visa.

Do you think a good IELTS score would help me in visa if i get 7+ bands?

thanks,
harv
Heyy... did you take admission in canada?? And wht about the visa?

I was also facing this problem as i scored only 48 marks in maths in 12th standard. Because now mostly colleges need 50 marks in each subject. I chose the course wisely and got three offer letters. SO choose your course wisely you will definitely get an offer letter and maybe visa too.. go for the courses that donot require mathematics.. i cn suggest you some if uu want?
Can you suggest me????? please I've got only 33 marks in maths with non medical stream n my overall percentage is 63 with english 90/100

Well. According to me, your marks are VERY less. I am pretty sure that an explanation wouldn't do much. Plus that course is an advanced diploma which will do no good but increase chances of rejection. If you want to do that particular course then I would suggest you to first do a bachelor degree and then apply. I would also suggest you to consult an immigration lawyer who will tell you much better than me. Make sure to consult an ICCRC lawyer only.
Can I get admission in canada with 47 marks in math ,67 in physics, 69 in chemistry , 75 in English and 85 in physical

It's important to keep in mind that there isn't a direct co-relation between grades and acceptance. While having good grades certainly does help, overall profile is what is being looked at. If you have poor grades and get rejected, try to fill it in with things that would convince VO otherwise. Work experience, certificates related to field of study, online courses like Coursera, good English(IELTS) scores, projects undertaken can convince the VO otherwise. Remember he/she is trying to ascertain if you're a genuine student(or not) and if you would complete the course.

Nobody can answer the question of "If I have x % in 12th and y% in Math, then would I get visa" because each visa application is materially different. I had 59% in 12th grade with 45% in Math and 5 year academic gap, but got OPR. Good PTE scores(equivalent to 8.0 IELTS), work experience, Coursera certificates probably went a long way towards the positive outcome.

Best of luck.
