Crap I almost have 468 number but still waiting for wife's ECA.

CAN'T fill in application and skipped this draw now.
Crap ???

You could have entered the pool using the code that WES gave you when you applied. You don't have to wait until the evaluation is done. The code is the same!

No, he couldn't have. Must wait until he has the ECA, else it is misrepresentation.

Missed it narrowly. I have 466.

Sad story is that I would lose 5 points by the next draw which would be on my birthday. Talk of irony. :-[

Even worse, my IELTS expires by May 17th.

I got my ITA and its for CEC woohoo :P

Sorry for this may sound dumb question.. Does this mean outlanders PNP nominated applicants have to wait for next draw?

That is correct as s/he will not be able to enter the date the report was issued and also it will have a validity date in the future compared to the date of round of invitation.

Get booked in for a new test asap.

Even if you had received an ITA today, you might have still struggled to put your application together by the time your test expires.

Now it's almost impossible, unless you have all documents ready and you'll receive an ITA in the next 3-4 weeks.

No, it is not misrepresentation. I did not say accept ITA before making sure that the degree is recognized by WES. I said he could have simply entered the pool, got the ITA and then waited for WES to see how the evaluation goes and then accept the invitation!

Oh man. I feel you. I am almost at a similar stage. I am at 467 and will drop to 462 after the next draw. So one more draw to decide my fate. Let's hope that some miracle happens.

Not true. Applicants must demonstrate they qualify at time of ITA and at time of AOR.

Applicant wouldn't have had enough points to qualify for the ITA at the time it was issued because the ECA report did not even exist yet. Can easily be checked through ECA date.

it is simply a lie to state you have an ECA when you don't (yet). That could be construed as misrepresentation, but in any case it would result in rejecting the application if found out.

Not worth the risk.

Should a profile be eligible on the date of ITA or on the date of AOR? I think both. Otherwise people would just create profile to get ITA, anticipating IELTS/ECA in next 60 days. This does not seem appropriate since what if ECA or IELTS isnt as per expectation. There are many cases where applicant got rejected for masters in ECA evaluation.

Of course both. Bad idea to lie about this.

Applications are checked against EE profiles. This is why they become locked.

Must be eligible and have sufficient points at date of ITA and AOR.

Dude.. misery loves company I guess. Sorry to hear. Wishing you the best in your journey.

Have registered for the IELTS again. The 250$ is a significantly painful pinch. But then c'est la vie. Perhaps I should learn a bit more French than just use French phrases. :P :P

Cheers

technical issue, even after receiving nomination my scores haven't updated yet. Seems like joke sometimes.

Also got my ITA under CEC (1047 points)

And now question:

When I was filling in the EE profile, I answered that I'm bringing 13000$ to Canada (didn't know that it's actually possible to say 0). Now, there is a new PR form to fill in and again same question about funds. Should I now set 0 or type in 13000 again? Will it affect my application at all since I go under CEC? ::)
