so this is the new baseline? now they wont issue ITA below 470?

goddamnit i am kicking myself for not finishing this in the last year before these new quotas came

now im really worried they could have issued few more ITA by lowering to 469 and they didn't, what does that mean, they dont want anyone below 470 now?

If they follow current pattern with such low number of invite, there is hardly any chance score will go to 450. At one end they are raining PNP, which give 600+,and top of that less number of invite.

Feel like 470 is their new benchmark. And it may stay this way for while, at least this year until the backlog is cleared. Even then, it will take a long time for the points to come down( below 450 ) because the there will be lots of applicants in 450-470 range after a year that have not been picked over....

From what I see here http://eefacts.com/ (the second chart and the following list) there was only one draw under 1000 invitations (apart from the starting ones), ant it was the first draw of April last year. Is there anything special in April? End of some-kind of quota? Or something related to financial year?

470 is the new 450 and will be till the end of year.
We cant do anything about it. :'(
