Re: Registered Nurse category

Hi Scandinavian,

I sat the CRNE last October and passed in my first sitting. My advice would be to buy the prep guide on website, study the first edition Mosby Comprehensive review, I went online and study from the website nurses2canada in which I bought a month subscription. Just do alot of practice questions at least 200 MCQs daily. Additionally try to figure out when doing the MCQs the ones you get wrong by reading the rationales.

Study at least a few months in advance. Hope this helps.

All for one

hello, just reading some of your posts here, im also a nurse, but here in the PHILIPPINES, i have application going on for spousal under family category. Im just lookin gover those things i can prep myself with..like now im reviewing for my IELTS then hopefully file to CARNA for assessment... hopefully all will turn out ok ;) i will keep reading posts here ;)

Hi Sultanali,

Best wishes Sultanali and God Bless you and your family for the wonderful work that your doing. As I have seen that most people once landed in Canada stop checking and helping people who are struggling. But you and few others are exceptions like quox.....

My wife is a nurse and she is preparing for her CRNE exam. I would greatly appreciate you if you cud send us the CRNE materials and links which would be helpful for her preparation. Our email addresses are: vijay.josephs @ gmail.com, bincy.thamby @ yahoo.com

Also would like to know how is the job market in Toronto? If you cud add few lines about landing in a job after CRNE it would be a insight for many in this forum.

Keep doing this great work.

Thanks & Regards,
Vijay Joseph

hi net, I already received my application package on February 03, 2012. I emailed them in November of 2011 and they said that my app was returned on November 10, 2011 due to cap reached, so it took almost 3 months when I received my application package.

Did you already emailed them asking the status of your application? if not, email them right away so you'll have an idea of the date when they returned your app. hopefully you receive ur app soon. take care.

IELTS is not required till you pass the exam, after passing CRNE and for registration you need it. General module is accepted by CNO. Speaking 7 and others 6.5.
you can take MELAB that is an easier exam in Canada too.
