Happy New Year guys!:)
I get anxious now that its new year and I haven't received any notice from the embassy. My papers reached Nova Scotia in September 14, 2011. Can I still expect for a positive response to my application? the 500 cap was reached sep 20. I'm wondering if they ever reviewed my documents before sep 20 :(

Keeping my fingers crossed for 2012, though :D

My application got returned because the cap of 500 has been reached.
Really frustrating when they receiving it so early and why do they still update it every weekly.

What is your outcome?

Hi Guys!

Ill share my case, my NOC 3152 was received last Sept 14, 2011. Our bank, BPI confirmed encashment of my BD. I got a reply from another thread that the NOC already reached its cap by july and no way was my application gonna be processed. Im kinda in a distress, but Im holding on the fact that my BD was encashed though I still have to verification through mail or email. No documents were sent back to me until now. Please shed me some light.

, thyness

Hi Thyness, If you applied with AEO, you may stand a chance of getting PER, if not, then be rest assured you did not meet the CAP.I applied under 3152 also but in August.I received back my application on 25/12/2011. My DD was'nt encashed, it was returned with the package. If you want official confirmation, email CIO. They will tell you the status of your application and if it was returned, they will tell you the exact date it was posted to you so you know when to expect it. I wish you all the best.

Registered Nurse category

Hi everyone,

Has anyone done the CRNE test for RN in Ontario (Toronto)? I am thinking of buying the book they have on their link,
http://www.cna-aiic.ca/CNA/nursing/rnexam/preptools/default_e.aspx
and study before doing the test. Would be nice to hear how you considered the test?

Hi Scandinavian,

I sat the CRNE last October and passed in my first sitting. My advice would be to buy the prep guide on website, study the first edition Mosby Comprehensive review, I went online and study from the website nurses2canada in which I bought a month subscription. Just do alot of practice questions at least 200 MCQs daily. Additionally try to figure out when doing the MCQs the ones you get wrong by reading the rationales.

Study at least a few months in advance. Hope this helps.

All for one

Thank you! Yes I will now purchase the book, what online course did you participate?
The one on CRNE page..?

:-*

Hi Scandinavian,

I used this website nurses2canada, here's the link https://www.nurses2canada.net/.

This website basically gives you 200 questions per day in a examination format and at the end will give you your results at the end and you can go over the wrong and write answers.

Also go to Allnurses website they have a lot of study tips there as well, importantly study all the Compendum of standards especially restraints and the competencies. Pm me if you need any additional information.

Hope this helps

All for one

Thank you again! This is all valuable information.
Will take the internet course, it seems like the best option.
:)
