I also planing to apply under for this RN 3152 category.what about the chances of nurses there?

there are 99.9% chances for nursing but again its depend on case to case as there are many factor involve in it ...

I'm really confuse is it OK to apply for CRNE? even though your just a new comer immigrant? some of my friends told me that you must be a Canadian citizen? its really confusing, so its OK to take up CRN exam even though your papers is in process??? pls give advice THX!

yah i hv contact CNO in this regards .. initialy you can start process , after assement yu can also booked a exam whie you are in process of immigration... you can hv a invitatiob letter to travel canada for exam on visit visa .. you must hv to provide PR when yu passed the exam and applying for certificate for practice... i hope you understand the whole processs , i hv booked my exam for feb 2011 while its in process.. but incase you got refusal from immigration then you wont get refund assesment fees but cn get examination fees if u meet deadline for cancelling the exam also you can dealy your exam in wel advavce notice...

HI I havent read the requirements of other cities regarding their requirements in taking the crne but I read the requirements of crnm, this is in manitoba. You have to complete the five requirements and one of them is proof of citizenship. Aspire said when she applied for crne, the proof of citizenship was not there yet so i think we have to wait til we have our PR. Im planning to write to crnm and inquire if I am eligible to apply even if my application is still in process.

for sitting in exam you dont need pr , but you wil required it at later stage when you cear the exam and applied for certificate ....

well i guess its not a big amount as compare to your total requirement if you try to sale some of your gold and later date when you in canada buy it again .. lolzz there is alwayz a way ... just need to explore it ....

they wont except the POF if it wont fullfil the VO requirement ... still wish u good luck and woud also recommand you to contact Qorax in this regards he is senior and would definatly give u a adive on it...

hi friends and fellow RNs...

i've worked as a staff nurse in a pediatric hospital for 1 year, then had been a nursing clinical instructor after i resigned from the hospital (more than 3years already in practice as CI) although i saw tha NURSING INSTRUCTOR is one of the subtitles under 3152-REGISTERED NURSE, i'm not quite sure if they would consider it as part of my work experience.

will i get only 15 points for my staff nurse experience only or the full 21 points?

please enlighten...

i hvnt submit any thing to CNO , as this reqiurment is for later stage they will ask for it later when exam wil be cleared.... please not i have applied for Toronto so if going to any other province it might have some diffrent rules but you can always email them and explain the situation as i did earlier i would recomand to start CNO process atleast same time as you recived you second AOR ... CNO process a bit slow if you wont apply on time then you will strugle alot when you will be in canada as you have to wait for like 4 to 6 month to complete this process and also can get RN job .... i assume you would already know this requirement ......but incase you dont hv a clue.....

sorry dont hv clue in this regards but yah if your profession is there you shoud get full point still would recommand you to message privetly to Qorax he would definatly help you in this regards .. as i dont wana give any false information here

Hi aspire, thanks for your substantive reply. Ask ko lang possible ba na magparegister ako both Alberta and Manitona for Registration ng sabay at para makapagtake ng CRNE exam sa Manitoba na Alberta. Maglaland kc ako sa Alberta at dun muna ako magstay and maghanap ng work for a while. If may eligibility na ko Manitoba then take ako CRNE at transfer sa Manitoba later on? Pwede ba yun? Thanks.

add me up i sent my docs thru my consultancy firm last april 28 they received (CIC) on May 5. Up to now. no AOR yet. anyway ive read and downloaded mannitoba's instructions for IEN, it is stated there that we have to complete 1-5 including PR visa. guys, how about Saskatchewan? I have a friend there newly arrived few weeks ago, he said there are lots of jobs available. n a fellow nurse is there already working n did not even had bridging course when she was assessed by SRNA...

PS- mannitoba's rules were just newly implemented last June, 2010...
CARNA- in alberta, we really need to go for bridging program as my classmate did (shes working as LPN)..

I have completed my 3 year Diploma in General Nursing and have more than 7 yrs of working experience in India. I already have NCLEX and CGFNS certificate and a valid NewYork RN Licence but I cannot go to US because of the in availability of EB3. Now I have applied for a Canada Immigrant visa and I have received my AOR by June and still waiting for medical.I have written Ielts Academic module (W=6.5, R=6.5, L=6.5, S=6.5).Now I heard that we need to write General module.

1) So should I need to write IELTS General module again?
2) Am I eligible for CRNE with my 3 yrs Diploma in Nsg?
3) If I am not ,plz tell me the procedures to do

You need to have a BSN (this is a MUST) if you want to work as an RN in Canada.

Prior to the changes in the application process made last June, ACADEMIC IELTS used to be accepted but people are saying now that the CIO became stricter with this requirement and would only accept GENERAL module.
