my case change IN PROCESS last feb8 and i sent a mail to london vo office to inquire if it is an error as details is same with rbvo and they replied that my case is in process or waiting to be reviewed by a visa officer.

Thanks for adding my details. The reply you have received is encouraging i believe. What do you think mate.

i beleive so phdmaker as our time line is correct and corresponds with the time frame given by the VO, hopefully we receive our medicals one of this days in the month of march

Oh lepetit.. dont u worry.... V r all together coz V all of us chose to make the decision to go the land of maple leaf & recevd our 2nd AOR's more or less in a difference of few days .... ... that thought itself has brought us together & this 2nd AOR'ers thread looks so good to see & I hope & pray V all of us get our medicals , PPR's & Visas stamped very soon... anyways singapore VO is quite fast than London VO... so u may be one of the first to get them...... 8) 8)

Since we have larger inventories of applications than limits within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must process applications according to the priorities set by Parliament. As we have a sufficient number of applications in our high priority categories, we are not in a position to process your application at this time, nor can we predict when processing on your application will resume.

In the email i asked about my status

This is my first email to you to ask about my current status. I have submitted my complete documents on 4th May 2010. and got 2nd acknowledgement of receipt on 15th Aug 2010.

Till now almost 10 months have passed and I didn't hear anything from your office.

Now my status has been changed in process from 1st Feb 2011 but the processing date is not mentioned there.


The details are given below:

We received your application for permanent residence on January , 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March , 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the London England office on March , 2010. The London England office may contact you.


We transferred your application to the London England office on July , 2010. The London England office may contact you.


Kindly inform me that how much time is required on my case.

guys just a piece of advice..

to those who reside and having a savings account in the middle east.. SAFEGUARD your show money/ hard-erned money!
Think of keeping your hard-erned money in the safe plaCe/safe hand ( options can be in your home country bank or international bank)

can u elaborate on this statement....kulasa.. in a way hard earned money has to be safeguarded wherever one lives but Y middle east residents only....

I'm worry bout the revolutions/turmoil/protest happenings in the middle east. Like what is happening in Libya, now in KSA, Baharain, oman and others. This somewhat affect the economy/banking of the country or the nearby countries.
I'm here in Dubai, I can't see any threat of having a revolution or something here, my concern is about the conversion of my AED currency to a Dollar if worst thing happen to our nearby countries...
Anyway It's just a piece of advice for my fellow workers here in the middle east. It is better to be prepare than end up crying...
