How does 2nd aor looks like? I got 2.5 months after submitting EE app 4th line in ECAS stating "2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on June 15, 2015. ". Is this 2nd aor????

I have however never seen a Inland applicant getting this, EVER!

I have seen people Inland submitting BOWP , with the initial AOR and getting the WP approved.

I personally know 3 of my collegue got bowp approved for 1 year with 1st aor..they never receive 2nd aor and 1 of them got ppr already...dont waste time..go ahead and apply bowp if u need with your 1st aor....and till this date since EE started..no Inland has received 2nd AOR and most of them got PPR wothout 2nd AOR being issued..its been 9 months and how come ppl still dont know that 2nd AOR has never been given to InLand applicant..prove me wrong if any inland has 2nd AOR...

A second AOR is a rare bird. I went all the way through the process - including having my work permit expire 2 weeks ago - without getting one. Apply for your BOWP with your first AOR a couple of weeks before your work permit expires. That will put you on implied status. Right now, open work permits are taking 3-4 months to process, so it's quite possible you'll get your PR before you hear about the BOWP. If you are the rare person who receives the second AOR, send it along in a CSE to support the BOWP application.iamSunny said:I am worried

Quite a few people on this board got a BOWP using the first AOR, by the way - and others were refused. CIC is nothing if not contradictory!
I spoke to a guy at CIC regarding the 2nd AOR, as the website with information about applying for a BOWP states you must have your 2nd AOR. I told him that no one I knew had ever received one, and he just replied that I had to do what the website said.
Needless to say, I applied for my BOWP without a 2nd AOR - my IEC visa expires on October 17th.
FYI you need to apply for your BOWP 30 days before your current permit expires so don't leave it too late.
When I last looked its 117 days for processing of BOWP.
On a side note, my driving license expires on my birthday and the BC drivers license people told me I just needed to go to them with a screenshot as proof that my application for permanent residency was in process and they would give me a 60 day paper license. I have to keep going back every 60 days to get a new one. So keep an eye out for expiring drivers licenses, as renewal is attached to you having a valid visa.
