Unfortunately this section of A11.2 leaves the discretion to the VO. I approach this as if I am going to get a 'letter of the law' VO all the time. Hence sometimes I'm extremely overcautious.

You are getting the next call anyway, so it doesn't matter to you to decline, that all 9+ celpip score certainly helped you a lot :)

Hi, i am sitting on 459 and the last draw was literally frustrating for me. I hope that next draw will take place in this year, then it's a good chance that ppl with similar 455 and up crs would get an ita, however if they make it in January, I don't believe that the score will actually be under 470. 3 weeks is a serious period.
Yes, I agree your view.

No details can be changed following receipt of an ITA. All details are locked.

not at all true, people, do not panic!
I filled in stuff like that wrong in my ee profile and corrected it when i applied. I got PPR. They only care if the changes you make cause your score to drop below the threshold.

But honestly, 400 would not be a bad score for ITA though.
If Ontario thinks its good enough, why not CIC?

cutoff score is expected to come down as backlog has been cleared. let's hope it touches 400 in coming months

Please guys, let us be realistic and it will help us make better plans, A B or C.

There is no way scores are coming down beneath 440 in the coming months, simply because between 440-450 there are a huge number of applicants accumulated from Jan 1 2015 and never cleared. There will be more than 1500 profiles at each point lesser than 450, so it will take more than 10 draws just to clear out the 440+ backlogs and that would be 6 months.

1. how did u reach to 440? it can be 420 too ! thats ridiculous ( you were first saying like it wil never go below 450)
2. They have met in middle of month and conveyed the back log is cleared and u will see more invitees from comming draws so scores will drop drastically.
3. Let others put thier own speculations, all are educated enuf to discuss.

440 was an example taken to explain the logic. Obviously, it will take more time to hit 430 than 440, and still more for 420. Since the OP spoke about "coming months", I took 440. In the below posts, I've used 430 and even 400, as examples, if that will make you happy! :D

In this post here, I've mentioned how many people are at each point, taking examples of 440, 430 etc. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/cic-19th-draw-how-many-450-and-above-still-waiting-t360753.0.html;msg4697291#msg4697291

In this post here, I've said it won't come below 400 for a long long time: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/my-crs-is-380-any-chance-for-me-t380338.0.html;msg4774526#msg4774526

Further analysis here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/19th-draw-what-could-be-the-lowest-score-t354583.0.html;msg4676468#msg4676468

If CIC says scores will come down, then it will. Can you please give me a link where they said that?
