I am at 454. Received Ontario PT on 27th Nov. I have to sent the documents by 10th Jan (Sunday).
I need to send the document by then. If I send by Bluedart, I need to send latest by 7th Jan (Thursday) so that documents reach on 11th Jan.

My wife's ECA is in progress, likely to get 8 points once WES completes the ECA. CRS likely to go to 462.
Any opinion if I should send documents for Ontario PN on 6th or 7th Jan OR wait for forth coming draws ?

You have a good score, i think you should wait for the ITA in coming draws...
you might have to wait for 2-3 draws but your score is worth the wait...

go ahead and send them. if u get an ITA they will return ur draft. so dont take a risk.

But on Ontario web site they have specifically said that fee is non-refundable if someone accepts ITA while OINP application is being processed.

No Sorry, you are right, i also think draw ll be on 8th Jan. But another logic says they ll have 24 draws in 12 months .. Hope came from logic only

little correction: Express Entry system started from 1 Jan 2015, so 31 Dec 2015 ll make it one year old system.

the documents with the fee as well will be sent back to you in case you ask them, but only if they still haven't acknowledged you by that moment. correct me if it's wrong

I did but I had to decline it because the system gave me a score for Canadian work experience of 1 year (due to the limitation of entering start and end dates in 'month' not 'day' format). My '365 days' of work was reached after December 20, 2015. Hence now I can genuinely say I worked more than 1 year. Per the below link the VO, can reject an application if they determine all conditions were not satisfied at the 'time of receiving the ITA' or at the time of 'the e-APR'.

Some people on this forum said to wait until after Dec 20 passes and then file but I wanted to be 'safe' rather than 'sorry'.


Under section A11.2, an officer may not issue a visa to an applicant who did not or does not meet the Express Entry minimum entry criteria (MEC) or did not or does not possess the qualifications for which they received their CRS score at the time when

the Invitation to Apply (ITA) was issued; or
the e-APR was received by CIC.
