Hello everybudy,

I am from India.
My question is on regarding NOC 2151- Architects.

I want to know that how to show work experience who are professional architects??
means>> a person who is doing his professional work as a Architect (Not doing job somewhere) then who can certify his work experience? as he is doing it individualy.. Pls let me clarify on this.

Thank you

Hi,
One has to show personal license, where he is working, Past and current year project profile in terms of project size and time line. May be Project finishing certificate. Income tax return for office etc. Service Tax returns, or any proof for office establishment.

In short you have to prove in every sense that you are working as a Practicing Architect.

Regards,

I am in the same boat. Let's share each other experience.

Hey London Visa Office Applicants @ Architects,
it funny that i started this topic and i have been the least active.Sorry for that.....

For yoiur information, I have sent a status update (new passport, additional travel details and address change) to the London visa office by emirates post (traceable).
Since I could track my parcel, I have got the confirmation that Mr. XXXXX has received the same.
I had the following questions and would appreciate prompt responses:
1) How do I make sure that the London VO updates my immigration file information? Since I checked the Ecas status 3 days after they received the parcel, the information sent by me is not updated.
2) If god willing I get a passport request sometime soon, shall I get my spouse passport replaced with a computer printed one because the one she has is hand written. I am asking this because a friend of mine got the passport request and the request letter from his VO says that he must submit passports with bio data printed on It.????
3) BTW my ECAS shows RBVO since ages.......any comments on that??

Will highly appreciate your brilliant answers as always:

Thanks

3) BTW my ECAS shows RBVO since ages.......any comments on that??- Order CAIPS if you want exact info for your application.

Hello
I have a query. I have Bachelors in Architecture and a Masters in Planning. I have more than 3 year work ex in India . I was working as an Assistant Architect in a firm. I have applied via a consultant, the consultant is saying that since my designation is not Architect my application may be rejected. However i have submitted my Indian practice licence from council of Architecture , experience certificate and both the degrees and transcript.
My query is will the designation at the firm i used to work will matter as that was a way to differentiate between senior experienced Architects. Will the designation matter that much as various firms have various designation and title to differentiate between its employee as they progress in the hierarchy. Can anyone provide similar experience and what happened in their case
My Employment Reference letter does states all the duties that i had performed are as expected from an architect

Sarika

@djarch - any news about your applicaiton? if you have already PER?

Hey bizzy,
Not Yet....almost 3 months not heard anything. I was told that it takes 5-7 months for the buffalo applicants to get file no. Have you already applied??? Where is your visa center???it also depends up on the visa centers. Some of the VC takes longer time compared to others.
GOOD LUCK!

@djarch - I submitted my application last Oct 18, my credit card has been charged on Jan 4. My visa office is in Manila, Philippines. I have a batch mate (Oct2011 applicant) and he's got his PER on Jan 10th. I'm actually waiting for the email anytime.

Hi Felyne,

In order to practice in Canada,we need to be licensed. For acquiring this, you need education, experience, and pass the exam. Architects are required to complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture program approved by the Canadian Architectural Certification Board. To get experience, you must complete the Internship in Architecture Program. For Internship, you need to work under a licensed Architects(for about 3 years). Finally, you need to appear for an exam and pass.

All the best for your future endeavors.

@djarch - if for example i will take my Bachelor's degree in Ontario, do you think they'd credit my some of the subjects?

I am planning to apply under NOC 2151 for July 2012. I have 2 questions:

1. Will NOC 2151 be repeated in July 2012 list?

2. I have a total experience of 7 years in this field, but from last 2 years I haven't been working due to birth of my child and his upbringing. Will this impact my application?

Your reply will be helpful. I am very optimistic to make it this year, but am not getting much help in this regard as concerned to our NOC.

Guys reply. .....
