I am planning to apply under NOC 2151 for July 2012. I have 2 questions:

1. Will NOC 2151 be repeated in July 2012 list?

2. I have a total experience of 7 years in this field, but from last 2 years I haven't been working due to birth of my child and his upbringing. Will this impact my application?

Your reply will be helpful. I am very optimistic to make it this year, but am not getting much help in this regard as concerned to our NOC.

Guys reply. .....

Hi,,

1) No body can predict that next year they will include 2151 in list or not but lets hope that you will get chance.
2) you required more than one year experience in your field so no need worry, it won't affect your application.

Indira Prabhakaran.
Hello Indira,
I am new to this blog and clearly you seem to be quite knowledgeable bout Architect application.

I've got couple of doubts.

Firstly, my total work experience is of 2 and half years. First 6 months were before graduating as an internship under the title of 'Trainee Architect' so not considering it. After graduating too, i worked for another 6 months under the SAME title of 'trainee Architect'. And rest remaining as proper title of 'Architect'.

Basically, 1 and half yrs experience as 'architect'
and half yr experienece under the title of 'trainee architect' after graduation. So will this experiecne be counted or will they consider me an intern since the title remains the same even after graduating. And I really need to show 2 years experience to reach 67.

Secondly, I am single and applying for immigration alone. Do you think Canada is safe for girls to settle in alone. And I am not intending to apply for Canadian registration because it would be ok with me even I work as an assisstant to any Architect. Is there good scope for such kind of work ? Worst case scenario, if i dont manage to find any skilled job... are atleast unskilled jobs like store keepers, etc. easily available atleast to survive comfortably till m there ?

Regards,
Neha

Hi ! I am an architect too. Can we hear about your progress and experience? Any tips you would like to give? Especially about getting CACB accreditation?

Hi, I'm new to this page and considering applying for a job - wondering if this is still active?

Graduate Architect with a degree from the US, and wrapping up an MSc at the moment. I've had about 4 years of working experience but I'm based in the Caribbean.

Just wondering if considering your own personal experiences it's easier to go the express entry route or to try to apply for a work visa?
