Lol! Nice nickname MnB! Let it rain for > 420 folks and may the booze flow for you..MooseNBooze said:As a noob, I offer as a sacrifice one of my yet to be redeemed noob coupons to the CIC gods (I guess the combo of policy honchos and the IT professionals) - let it rain for people with > 420 (yeah, kinda arbitrary) scores. Let's have the draw. Now. [Roll Thunder]
Thanks, cyronn. I chose that name while under the influence of good vodka. Someday I hope to try Canadian rye...at the maker's facilities nonetheless, and with the PR card in my wallet.cyronn said:Lol! Nice nickname MnB! Let it rain for > 420 folks and may the booze flow for you..
I agree. I think we should all be mentally prepared for a high CRS cutoff this time around.Russian said:The cut off's gonna be about 480. When the pause between draws is more than 2 weeks, the score increases.
I feel you, friend. Your score is so close and yet so far. Have you looked at ways to get it even a few points higher? Have you maxed out your language and work experience transferability skills? I'm pretty sure you have. But if there's any way to max out your points, I would really suggest you do so (within legally and practically available means, of course ;D).china.cse said:My assumption that score hover around 470-480 again this time as well, CIC waiting for more days (3 weeks if it happens this week) for next draw lead suspicious that they awaiting for more applicants between that score to meet at least 1500 applicants... Im sitting at 449
If you're going to land in Toronto we'll drink russian vodka together no doubtMooseNBooze said:Talking about good vodka, let me turn to, well, our comrade in arms with the username "russian" (hey, I hope you don't mind my using the word comrade, I come from a country where communists rule and the connotation here is quite positive) -
Unlikely there will be any radical changes, atleast immediately. The first draw by the new govt will be interesting though. I suspect it will be business as usual for the time being with draws being in their normal range of 450+.Russian said:If you're going to land in Toronto we'll drink russian vodka together no doubt
I score 464 in EE and hope to get ITA until the end of year. Hope that new government does not bring unpleasant surprises
I second this. The cutoff might be a bit higher this time but largely due to the accumulation/increase in the pool (provided they don't increase the selection population). Otherwise, business as usual.cyronn said:Unlikely there will be any radical changes, atleast immediately. The first draw by the new govt will be interesting though.
