I have applied for my dad on January 28, 2025, they have only received the temporary application number and even that was in the month of April, since then no update at all.
No issue. IRCC has the application so you just wait. Processing in general is very long and this should not be impacting his ability to live and function in Canada so when you actually get the AOR isn’t that important.
Same here. It’s been 4 months. No AOR. Having an AOR gives some for of hope that your application is being processed. Until then, our application is yet to be opened or checked.
If it has been received it is being processed. The length of processing doesn’t really change because it took longer to get AOR.
As per IRCC, “your application is still undergoing completeness check and is yet to be assigned to an officer”. So no, until you get an AOR, your application is pending.
