No not like this but u r right few doesn’t want to share but everyone going by Que that’s I am sure. I am from March 17 2023 still no progress, don’t think they would jump to do fast no way, it’s kill ur time and brain energy relax, they will take around 30 months sure, don’t kill ur time we already wasted, invest in something else. U will get that sure.

Well thanks For your words But when You are alone, Your family, little daughter in your country. It's impossible to think about it every day.

Yes, if You are with your family it doesnt natter to wait. I'm glad at least You are fine with them. To be alone as refugee is extremely hard.
If they can't guarantee family reunification to support the refugee's well-being, then what’s the point of approving the claim in the first place? It makes no sense. Granting asylum without allowing someone to reunite with their loved ones completely undermines the purpose of protection. It’s not just inconsistent, it’s inhumane.

Yes it is. Please read this from the IRCC website, '
Each day spent in Canada as a temporary resident or protected person within the last 5 years counts as one half day when you calculate your physical presence. You can use a maximum of 365 days as a temporary resident or protected person toward your time spent in Canada.

A temporary resident is someone who is authorized to enter or stay in Canada as a:

  • visitor
  • student
  • worker or
  • temporary resident permit holder
A protected person is someone who:

  • was found to be in need of protection or a convention refugee by the Immigration and Refugee Board or
  • received a positive decision on a Pre-Removal Risk Assessment from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
If you made a refugee claim, or were included on a family member’s refugee claim, you won’t be credited time in Canada from the date of the refugee claim until you receive a positive decision confirming you are a protected person.
'
But for this specific case, it's only 1 month of physical present days. Why not wait another month instead of risking it.

To be honest it’s still hard cuz permanent resident can get good jobs not on work permits plus ur citizenship time doesn’t count too
You’re absolutely right. Even with my higher qualifications, I had a hard time finding a good job because of my work permit. Most good jobs require permanent residency.

Some people told me go back to your country. Some refugees are fake but other are not. There are people in really danger if go back to country of origin. If You go to other country to meet your family, You can't stay there. You need an immigration status to stay and work in any Foreign country. So as You can claim asylum only once in your life, it's almost impossible to remain legally in a third country with your family. These kind of situations are not understand For many people and comes Bad comments. For us that can't go back to Our Home country, the waiting time feels longer and desperating.

Well I Heard other person takes less time. But those are rumors. Never confirmed. But what I really watched is here in this forum there are not many people representantive of each months. How many we are? Few jan 23, feb 23? How many march? What if other people who are not in this forum or don't want to share their timeline are having shorter processing times than others. The idea gives me some hope.

By the way I'm from Aug 23. Two years ago...
We share the exact date and timeline. Hang on just a bit longer :)
