I don't know why the other person answered for me but no, I received it via email. They also asked for basic information like my first and last name, email, eye color, height, dates of original and last entry, etc. They said the next step is they will create a portal for me and send the link.

"You will receive an email from the Permanent Residence Portal that will require you to
confirm that you and your dependants (if applicable) are in Canada, provide your
Canadian address and submit your photo to create a permanent resident card"
