Since you have your Bsc in IRCC, It seems you eat, sleep and breathe this forum Canuck and always have a response..the lag you speak of is more apparent now than before..

Long story but have some time on my hands and insomnia also gives me some extra time. There is a lag across almost all IRCC programs which will continue as Canada tightens immigration all while having significant backlogs.
I finally got my Final decision today March 28, 2025 after 29 months. Applied September 2022. I got portal 1 as well and now waiting for portal 2.

What is the purpose of sharing this information here? Additionally, this is not accurate information. According to USCIS, the correct update states that they are “placing a temporary pause” on finalizing certain applications for legal permanent residency (green cards), not pausing the ability to apply for a green card, as you claimed. It would be better to verify information before posting in the future.
Why are you so offended if people get upset with the processing timelines? Yes we are aware its a long process but we have every right to feel upset and frustrated because we are HUMANS with emotions. Stop trying to control others emotions with your “be lucky canada even let you in” comments. You got your citizenship, awesome. Take that passport and travel instead of wasting your time on this forum sharing information we dont want or need.
I’ve noticed one thing this guy is lying, I don’t think he got his citizenship yet, he just don’t like to see people happy or getting PR
I am a citizen. I am aware that although wait times are long, Canada remains one of the most generous countries when it comes to asylum, getting PR and citizenship. All about perspective.
Your case gives me hope. I also applied in September 2022 and am waiting for portal 1. Hope I will receive it this month by God's grace.
The typical processing time has become 30 months outside Québec and 45 months inside Québec.
For every month I wait, the IRCC increase the processing time 3 months. They play such unfair game with us.
You guys, this is entirely inhuamane to put the future of thousands of families overseas at risk. It is outright human rights violation.
