No I mean GC key account it’s a different portal where you can get updates regarding your submitted applications. Check this link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html Once you have a G number you can register and link your application.

I saw this update on my GCKey account, not on the portal where we submitted the application. PR application : March 8, 2023 AOR: October 17, 2023 Pre-arrival: Feb 29 2024 Eligibility: April 12, 2024 by regular mail. Office : CPC Mississauga

Today, my GC account showed *Application/profile updated* instead of the usual *Submitted*. However, there were no visible changes or updates within the application or profile. Later, the status changed back to *Submitted* again. Any thoughts? Should I expect any updates soon?

That’s correct however I just checked mine it’s still blank. Hopefully will get updates soon. Keep us posted.

Just a quick question, how do you know if it’s a ghost update? Did you receive a notification or an email?

It was 26 months this morning and then they removed the update later this afternoon.

That’s correct but the problem is that IRB only accepts written requests. You can call them and double check.

Send a request letter to IRB through a regular mail. They will process your request within 2-3 weeks.

Visit your local MP to explain your situation or send a letter by mail to your IRCC office in your city. This might help with your case.

Write rejected refugee claimant or refugee dependent. Also try to attach an explanation letter to your application and explain his current situation.

You have to include him in your PR application and select other and then write down rejected refugee claimant or refugee dependent.
