Our timeline is similar to Ramino2022. Inland spousal sponsorshp, and PR applied for Aug. 2022 (paper); docs uploaded on web Oct. 2022. One background/security check has been an outstanding issue for at least a year which I find to be ludicrous. Really can't do anything else except wait. My wife has a WP that has recently been renewed without issue. Why the PR is taking so long I have no idea.
I know when you get the Gcms note and you have outstanding on it you have to solve that, in our case my dependent had outstanding on biometric fee we paid it and send it with web form on next Gcms notes that issue address.
In your case review your latest request from them .it would be because they didn't receive your some forms like schedule A or any documents if they requested before! But always have consultation with lawyers. It was just my experience maybe on your case it's a difference story or it's a normal.

by outstanding you mean like a specific note on you GCMS? how did you manage to know that the outstanding was on the biometric fee? :)

Indeed, we are mistreated as protected persons in Canada. Waiting indefinitely for such an uncertain procedure is inhumane. The prisoner has the privilege to see his wife and children once a week. Nonetheless, the protected person does not have the same rights as the prisoner, as he must wait 4 to 5 years to see his children.

Seeking asylum is complicated and not easy at all but at least you are safe and sound from any violence in this country. It takes long and the process will take even longer for future asylum seekers. Stay strong and keep going! Your application will finish soon. Best of luck!

These are the types of lame arguments that we hear from the IRCC every day; the process is complicated. The reality is that it's not complicated, it's negected.
I am asking what the complications are behind allowing protected persons to bring their families on a TRV during the processing of their PR.
