My PR Journey
I finally bow out here.
Applied 6th May 2021
Stream: International Graduate Student
Aug 2021: received express entry invitation
Aug 2021: I canceled my TR to PR application and asked for withdrawal since i got ITA via express entry
Oct 2021: IRCC canceled my express entry application as incomplete
Dec 2021: Left Nova Scotia for a "better job" in Ontario hoping i will get another invite since score was low and i had 450
2022: All hope was lost as there was no CEC Draw
July 2023: Got a message from IRCC they wanted to close my TR to PR file and if i was still interested in PR, I need to pay application fee and add more documents for wife
Medical passed: July 2023
Since July 2023 no message, but i decided to keep applying for GCMS notes to have something to look forward to every month (just $5)
Nov 2023: Background check passed with only Security left
Final decision on my IRCC Account: May 2nd 2024, i was so excited.
May 10: I called but was told portal message was sent on May 7th but i did`nt get it
June 8: Got first portal and responded same day
2nd portal: June 13, i uploaded same day
Copr: June 19
Now waiting for PR card
PGWP expires November 10 2024
June 6 is my 6th year anniversary in Canada. What a journey!

I have a question folks. Those of you who are still waiting to get your "PR" How do you keep yourself busy? It is so hard for me at this point. I am struggling now. It's too much ...too much pressure to just wait. my son will apply for university soon and international tuitions are not affordable ...

Hi, any one applied extension work permit, I applied on March 3, got approved Sep 12. But IRCC only give me 3 month extension ,till Dec 21, 2024, under the public policy for TR to PR applicants. I have no idea what if my case will not finalized by the end of year.
I have three full-time and part-time jobs to keep myself not to think of it.
