Hi, I applied on 6th May, 12:25 PM est under essential worker. Today I saw that I have received a biometric refund from Immigration Canada? Is this normal, or does this indicate anything?

This means they are working on your file. I hope you may have given biometrics previously and that is why they have refunded you the money back. You may get your AOR soon now.

Wow someone already started working on 12:25 PM applications, and we haven't received anything in the middle. Seems like some grandma or grandpa's are working on the 12:16-12:24 applications.

Please see the category it's essential workers They have started processing other streams too, someone is already working for IG stream applications too as one of the guy received AOR today for 12:20 pm Est submissions

I think they gonna start reviewing by categories soon. It doesn’t make sense to reviewing by time.
They need more French speaker, more health care …. I believe soon we will get a huge update on the way they are treating the applications

Agreed. Because at this rate a high percentage of IG applicants will be processed this year(since it was the first stream to fill up to 40,000) and a great majority of other applicants from other streams who did not apply on May 6th or 7th will be processed next year since IRCC promised to at least process up to 40,000 applications this year

I tried with the option of only personal information (name, passport number and date of birth) but didn't got to access...

If you are not able to link it then please wait for your AOR as this means they have not started working on your application yet.

No as he is not dependent on you. Also, why you are going for the pathway there must be an easy way to get your PR as your husband is a citizen. Try to talk with an immigration lawyer and they can guide you some easy ways to get your PR
