“For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong.”
H. L. Mencken

Canada has complex issues. Provinces, cities & towns, businesses, people, both citizens and immigrants alike, have complex issues. All of the issues are different & if the solutions were easy & quick, they would already be done.

At least in Canada, compared to my home country & many if not most other countries, good people are trying to solve them and I have confidence that I will have a better life. I have been patient & will continue to be patient as IRCC works through its frustrating issues.

In the meantime, I can choose to be optimistic or pessimistic. The vast majority of us will have PR soon or next year. Despite the delay, I see that as a reason to be optimistic. I will be in debt & tired, but I will have a better future.

I agree but some people have their lives stuck
families are separated
marriages are threatened
people no longer have medicals due to expired work permits yet they are paying taxes
there is so much false hope
outsiders come in and take your jobs due to lack of documents as a result of this delay
people can’t buy houses yet even though they have been in the system since

will canada give us a better life - yes
are they frustrating people- yes
are they incompetent- yes
all this truths above can all exist.

I am seeing that we are just complaining but we are doing nothing to solve it, it’s depends on us or we spend another year in the same situation, we need to make a meeting sign a protests letter directed to IRCC.. it should be sign for every one affected by their incompetence..maybe in this group someone knows a reporter or someone in the news contacts… we need to elevated our voice .

Another war can start between China and Taiwan and the will do the same that they do with refugees from Afganistán and Ukraine and we can be waiting even I don’t know for how long

You need to provide a police PCC from any other country you lived in for more than 6 months after the age of 18. You do not need to provide one for Canada because IRCC already has a process to get that from the RCMP. Some people have been providing the Canadian PCC as well but it’s not necessary.
THANKS! I got a PCC in September from my country of birth to use for my EE application then. It is different from the PCC that I uploaded on May 6, 2021. As IRCC is still processing my background check, I don't know if my "invalid PCC / expired PCC" is the reason why my application delayed. Should I use webform to send them this new PCC even if it's not requested?

I've been reading the comments on this forum ever since I submitted my application back in June 2021. I received my AOR in March but it has been absolute silence since then, not even a GU.
My problem is that I'm working at a job that I hate and it's affecting my mental health. I can't leave the job because I don't know if this program is ever going to work out. I have already applied through another stream but expected wait time for that one is also 21 months. I'm pretty sure everyone else is having similar issues and when you're in a state that your mental health is at stake, it's really hard to be optimistic.

It can’t hurt to submit it again. I would. Best wishes.

PR for everyone but not for us than during the pandemic they call us heroes, we didn’t stop to work in my case I was driving a truck bring foods products to groceries stores, very essential and they pay us so bad !

Is there anyone whose criminality was passed before then changed to in progress on 17th June?
if yes, then is it same yet or passed again or anyone got approval?

Mine was passed then changed to in progress on 17 june. Now everything is passed, only criminality is left.
