2021 NBI Clearance (Philippines Police Certificate)

My research tells me I simply need to get this one though it can have different purposes on it. I suppose Canada Visa is the best choice We will get the old one renewed but it's going to take a while due to pandemic and so was wondering if it's OK to mail the old one and then wait to see about if they ask for an updated one or simply get a new one and wait to submit the entire application?

Also do we send in the original or or do we make a scanned color copy I have read conflicting information saying one or the other so I just want to be sure.

Immigration should be what you choose. Best to call NBI to see the best way to get it processed. You will include the origional.

PA for spousal sponsorship submitted Police Clearance instead of NBI clearance as it was not explicitly stated in the Checklist. Anyone experience the same? How was it treated by IRCC?
