When CIC returned our application, I lost my implied status but I still have a couple of weeks left of my 90-day restoration period. What we did is, after consulting here, we resent our application with OWP plus restoration. My OWP was approved last Friday. I received it in the mail yesterday and there's a note at the end that my status has been restored. I was told that I'm not the only who has been successful in doing this. Sooo, it may work out for you, too.

There was a post recently in the 2017 inland thread that someone's OWP was approved even when out of status. Although, didn't specify if restoration was included.

For some reason, my Client Application Status shows that my application was received on "December 28, 2017". However, CIC received my application on January 4, 2018. Has anyone experienced something like this? Does anyone have an explanation for this?

Is this your OWP application? Because there are a lot of people who have the same thing, including myself. It's always 7 days prior to the actual date. I wouldn't worry about it because most of us got our OWP approved already.
That was so fast! Did you receive your AOR via email? We submitted in February and are still waiting have heard anything!!!

Ours doesn't show that we even submitted an application even though I got confirmation when it was received via UPS.
Did you already receive AOR?
