Woke up to DM on both sides on ecas! However, if I click on the DMs the statuses are the same as before, except one of them now says that they started processing the application on Nov. 27th

It's normal, mine is the same.
EDIT: I don't have any new processing dates (sponsor's side is still on the one where they say they started processing the app in March), just the last note on mine says they sent me a letter and to be mindful of the postal strikes.
I just got an e-mail from the local IRCC office for an interview on December 12th!

I am Jan. 9th applicant, is that normal I saw the DM on sponsor side at Nov. 7th, and received SA email on Nov. 14th, and since that, I heard nothing from cic?
It's not uncommon, it simply means that something in the background check for the PA s not yet finalized yet to get to AIP or DM on PA side.
We are (Feb 2 applicants) is in the same situation : DM on sponsor side on Nov. 23rd and SA email on Nov. 26th
