2018 Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications: timeline and updates

Hi, I applied PR and OWP in end of August, and got medical request on Nov 15, passed it.
But haven't got an OWP yet. I thought they would send me a OWP before medical request.
Since when the process has changed? Anybody here has similar situation? I've been tired of being unemployed... ughh

They are maybe speeding up the medical requests lately (before it was around 6 months mark), but for OWP seems they are still within the previous estimate of 3-4 months. So I guess you're still on track
Like @elomam said, seems they're switching it around a bit. A friend of mine (who's not on this forum) also applied end of August and got the med request last week, before the OWP. The OWPs are still being issued on time though, so I'd guess you'll get it sometime in December.

That's exactly my doctor told me when I got a medical exam. I took it as good news, , can't wait for an OWP!

Yeah I also post the same thing on visa form for Japanese, some said they are in same situation as mine.
My husband's relative who has sponsored her husband form the philippines told me that getting medical repuest is good sign.
I hope I'm getting an OWP pretty soon, hopefully by end of this month lol

We recently received our interview letter as well. However, the date is of the interview has been scheduled for Dec 11 and we are set to be in the US over the holidays. I’ve heard at the interview your Visa is taken and you are issued a temporary PR card wherein you can’t leave the country until the official card is provided (~ 3 months). Has anyone had experience with this? We really can’t change our holiday plans! We were thinking to send in writing (as requires in the email) asking to schedule the interview for January however we don’t want to appear uninterested.

Okay, another update. I got an email with information on my landing interview. They scheduled it three weeks from now. ECAS hasn't updated yet nor have I yet received the DM email. I will let you know when those are updated as well.
