medical,criminality,eligibility all are passed and i recevied prearrival on june 22 , 2019. only left with security . But i have 1 dependent.

Usually 4 to 6 week you are done with ppr and another 2 weeks for passport to be back only if you had paid RPRF fee security is usually last step before ppr

I applied in Dec 2017, it's been 20 months I am unable to understand what's the problem with them, I contacted them more than 20 times as they respond every time with same answer that everything is good, my medical is expired so they are reviewing to possible extension of medicals, I don't understand is this a reason to delay a file for, I told them I asked that I will submit it, then they say it will delay of you send without request, I don't understand what's problem with this immigration

i have same problem i iapplied in jan 2018 and from 23 june 2019 my medical is expired and still didnt get any request to re do nor get any medical extension yet

There is no problem at all with them. If you are applying inland the chances that the medical will get extended are great whereas if you are applying from outland then no doubt you will be requested to redo medical. Also it depends on your country of origin and whether you have a long history of travel. I bet if you contact them lesser times you will definitely be getting some positive results. I understand your frustration but this will not help. Try to focus on another thing which is easy to be said but try. I have been in this long waiting process too. Hope you will be rewarded soon.

i called them today but they don't give any detail regarding security but they said your background check is in processing. when you call them , what you said if you want to know about security.

i just told them security check ... but they wont tell me if it is normal one or security screening.

if you want to know about this, we have to order notes... for both IRCC and CBSA. you can google ATIP to order notes.

yes, background mainly check security... so it means security is in process. so we need to order notes to get more details

I got pre-arrival in August 2018 and still no updates since then. Pre-arrival letter means literally NOTHING.

Normally pre arrival means eligibility passed, in my gc key eligibility passed date is pre arrival date
