Anyone who got their PPR/DM recently for january 2018 aor? i think im left behind..Thanks.

I think lot of January people are left. Only some January have gotten PPR/DM. Whats ur exact timeline?
I am January and my medical exam will expired soon
I tried to call cic but they answered to wait because medical extension (or additional exam) depends on the officer decision.
I am stuck on “background check” stage -almost 10 months they check it

Do you think time depends on the province?
In my opinion, I don't think it depends on province on PNP application. As once file goes to CIC it should be in their hands. It could depend on different factors like officer, how busy is the office, how long is your security check taking etc.

Same here, Medical expiring on May 29th. We will have to wait for officers decision. :(

How many of you guys are waiting for PR so you can just change the job? Or are you all satisfied with the job you applied PR with? Just curious...

My friend left the job and was without any job till getting PR
Almost a year

That could have been risky if they asked for more documents or had called the office for inquiry.
Didn’t said anywhere that you can’t change the job.
Although pnp say you can but it should be better job (salary, carrier growth)
If cic will process application 10 years- all of us will work on one place/position?

We can change the job, just have to notify cic. But quiting job is risky, specially if the PNP certificate says job restricted or something. I was told by my lawyer
