Hi, just want to ask if anyone here has the same situation of my brother (Outland applicant) He's applying for PR under AIPP. received a medical request for his wife and son but prior his application we included a letter with Attorney's signature that his wife is not cooperative and doesn't want to go to Canada with him so in short we weren't able to provide the passport details and pictures of wife and son. And now we got an email from MVO for medical request of his wife and son. Emailed MVO with the attached letter and sign of lawyer prior the application of his PR. Can you please advice us on what to do? Thank you so much

If you brother is married he needs to provide details for his partner and child... in the explanation about the application is clearly stated that he need to provide details of his legal partner even if she will not emigrate with him. I don't think there will be any way around it other than divorce.
Sorry.

Actually we don’t have divorce in Philippines and the annulment takes time and pricey. We thought the letter that we sent to CIC will suffice the necessary requirements as they didn’t ask for additional docs regarding my 4years old nephew and sister in-law’s passport, pic etc. Thank you for the reply. Emailed the CIC hoping and praying that the letter will be good enough..

I remembe seeing a person received PPR 5 days after their medical passed and then another person received PPR 17-18 months after their medical....so it’s really hard to predict :/

The two biggest delays in the application are your security check followed by the backlog. I would be considered with the security check way more than the medical if I were you.

Hi
I applied in december 2017, my application was received by cic on
dec 18,2017 and acknowledgement was sent on feb 07,2018 and on feb 7,18 they started working on my file.
After that i got married and added my spouse to my application in july 2018. He received his work permit in jan 2019.

But I haven’t got any update since than. I mean my friends have received medical and I haven’t yet.
