I got AOR sept 12
This year October- NovemberHi All - I applied Paper based application on 3rd August 2018. Got the AOR on 11th September 2018. Any thoughts by when I can expect the Medical Examination request?
no idea! where is the location of your file? What does security referred for process meaning
I have the same timeline:Hi All - I applied Paper based application on 3rd August 2018. Got the AOR on 11th September 2018. Any thoughts by when I can expect the Medical Examination request?
Probably Application Received Date. Anyway, we have a similar timeline.http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=534&top=3 says
"A processing time starts the day we receive an application and ends when we make a decision.
If you apply by mail, the time starts when your application arrives in our mailroom.
If you apply online or in-person, it starts when you submit your application."
So do we need to count 19 Months from Application received date or AOR date?
Your medical date does matter..IN THE END WE ALL HAVE TO WAIT FOR 18-19 MONTHS TO GET EVERYTHING DONE DOESN'T MATTER WE GET MEDICALS EARLY OR LATE !!
I did not receive a pre-arrival letter. Someone on other thread mentioned that Inland applicants don't get a pre-arrival letter. Not sure if that's true.Probably Application Received Date. Anyway, we have a similar timeline.
Did you receive the pre-arrival letter too?
Your medical date does matter..
I am inland too. Did you order a GCMS note? I did it a month ago, received it yesterday showing Eligibility and Criminal passed.I did not receive a pre-arrival letter. Someone on other thread mentioned that Inland applicants don't get a pre-arrival letter. Not sure if that's true.
I am planning to order them next month if I don't see any progress by April end. My lawyer told me that it will take 15 months so will wait for one more month.I am inland too. Did you order a GCMS note? I did it a month ago, received it yesterday showing Eligibility and Criminal passed.
Outland applicants or applicants with dependents usually wait that much after medical.. and frankly i never saw ppr after 5 days of medicalI remembe seeing a person received PPR 5 days after their medical passed and then another person received PPR 17-18 months after their medical....so it’s really hard to predict :/
