2018 January applicants for PR (paper-based)

My friend from January 2018 did get ppr today.. He had medical done in feb 2018 but again got medical request in May and then got ppr today

I applied for extension Bridge visa in March and also nothing
It is so frustrating!

Pre Arrival Letter August 2018
Nothing after that.

We are still in the normal processing time, only 17 months since we submitted the application.
My friends who got PR all waited at least 18 months. So I think there's nothing to complain about.

Yes that is true. My friends also got PR in the timeframe of 16-20 months, so June has to be the golden month

ECAS had changed into Application received>In Process>Application received during this year which I know is normal.

Today I got a ghost update on my account without any email and ECAS changed to " In Process". Also, GCKEY shows " We are reviewing the results of your medical exam" which is quite confusing to me because neither have I received any medical request nor have I done any upfront exam.

Please please let me know if I missed the email or something's not right here.

Got an email.
First I sent them confirmations via contact form, and few days later they sent me an email that they transfered it to relevant departement.

Any update buddy??

I left Canada because my work permit expired in August 2017. Wouldn't I need another medical exam? The only medical exam I had was in 2012 when applying for my study permit.

When you did your previous medical, they have a medical extension procedure for some cases , you might be one of them

They do mention the validity of medical certificates to be 12 months, no? My last medical exam was in 2012.
