2018 January applicants for PR (paper-based)

thank you so much for the info provided. but I missed their call yesterday, I am not sure if they are gonna call me again. or this will directly result in delay or failure for my case... hopefully not...

I agree to the fact that you found this number from some directory but to be honest these scam guys can call you from any number my friend got a scam call and he found out the number belonged to a real police station near him when he called back to the police station they told him its a scam they can use any number.. but anyways even if it is from cic they can't just ignore or fail it after calling you once because people do miss calls its normal they will reach out to you with the email or if it was a real call i believe they will call you again to my understanding hope for the best!

do you think if we need to provide biometrics now? because what i read on cic is not totally clear to me. it doesnt specifically say that who already applied are exempted. only until 2019 and when ircc specifies service canada outlets.

• Starting December 31, 2018 – applicants from Asia, Asia Pacific and the America

exactly. i fall under dec 31,2018. even in my work permit extension it is not included in the checklist. it is confusing. better to call cic then.
