As usual, I wasn't able to link my account on gckey: application not found. I contacted CIC and they told me to try again...
what do you think?
Status from CIC call:
1- Application received on January 11th
2- Processing started January 22nd
3- Medical received and pass
4- No interview required
5- Finger prints is not required yet
6- Background check is not started yet
7- We will contact you if additionnel documents required
8- Decision is not made yet

Good! Usually it takes 1-3 months to get an update if interview required or background check

me an my spouse are together since 2009 and we are living a distance relationship since 2013 as it traveled to the Gulf countries before coming to Canada, and i do not want her to come with me there, it is really bad and want to finish this and live together.

officer asked personal questions!!

interview took about 30 min
she had to wait 2.5 hour inside the embassy. stuff were friendly & helpfull. officer was candian interpreter was lebanese.

officer was nice didnt use any pressure she was going throu the file we prepared didnt go into details just looking. she did go throu the pictures mainly asked her questions while fliping them she asked her to show the ring and was matching with photos.

finally officer smiled and said i'm satisfied your marriage is real
i have no more concern about your marriage. next step is background check.

i don't know if people pass without interview in this office as i am with my spouse since 2009 and we sent them A LOTTTTTTTT of shared things photos bank accounts Facebook screen shots everything....... flights stamps for visit and family celebrations.

msamhat i don't know if people pass without interview in this office, if i sent them our history since 2009 with a lot of pages for chats, photos shared bank accounts and family celebrations and Facebook screenshots together and visit stamps as she was living in France and i visited her more than 6 times do they will be convinced from this.

i feel no one pass without interview in this office as they always have doubts about fraud of marriage specially from lebanon

it is all depends on the officer. I know some people that they got it without interview. if you file is well done, genuine, there is no interview.

you can always apply for a GCMS NOTES to have an update on your file. you can always do it anytime but if it is better to wait now since it is too early.
