2017 Applicant Still Waiting

I applied at the end of November 2017, while pregnant with our first child. We were married and living together since 2016. Medicals were passed February 2018 and we were called for an interview (Rabat VO) November 2018. Everything went fine and they said we’d hear something in the coming weeks.

We haven’t heard anything and emails just say “were still processing your file”. I’m due with our second child in September and getting anxious about hearing back (sponsor). I will have to leave soon.

Anyone else waiting over a year and a half? What could be taking so long. What’s the longest it has taken to be accepted?

In terms of the longest it can take - there's really no cap or limit. However a very small percentage of truly long cases do seem to drag out to 3+ years based on what we've seen on this forum.

Our file will be a year and a half on August 21st, everything is completed except for the security check. We’re not supposed to be interviewed. It’s incredibly long !
