Hey guys I recieved an update through ECAS today.

It's been changed to decision made for the applicant after being processed on April 15th. It explained on ECAS the office will contact my wife concerning the decision.

She didn't recieve any email however as of yet.

Is this good news?? What's the next step?

Under the ecas status there are sections you can click on which explain what each statement means such as decision made. If it is decision made for the applicant in stage 2 then it is very good news!

If you haven't been requested for an interview, I would take this to mean good news. We had the same thing on our ecas at the beginning of April, and then just last week they asked me to send in two recent photos into the Vienna office so that they can finalize the process. :)

Our timeline was as follows:

AOR Recieved: Jan 9th 2015
SA: April 1st 2015

Applicant:April 1st: Medical's received and Additional doc's requested-
April 15th- App being processed
April 18th- Decision made

Our application stayed in Mississauga and we never received PPR. The applicant has since changed her address so would CIC send any hardcopy mail to her home address? We have received everything through email thus far.

If CIC has been communicating with you through email you will continue to receive information from them by email.

Sounds like great news - a pre-emptive congratulations to you both! My application (or rather, my husband's) is also being kept in Mississauga for processing. Hearing stories of the fast times is only making me more impatient!

Looks like most of the January applicants have already passed the stage 1 processing!! oh-- yeueh!

Wishing all the best and hoping for the most swift processing for all of us!

FYI, once you've filled out your timeline it will automatically changed it's color/highlight so you guys won't need to ask anyone to change your highlight status.

All thanks to Mr. Phillips!

&& Thank you guys for your cooperation on keeping our spreadsheet pretty neat!! 8)

Very well done. I love the stats. Thanks alot to every one who contributed to that sheet.

P.S: The applicant "ASantos" needs a color change to his entry.
P.P.S: The Summery by VO tab shows 2 applicants have PPR, but doesnt list them under their VO. same for 1 in progress.
P.P.P.S: Thanks again :)

Nop, she's right.
See, she got PPR and then she got "in process" status and changed her color again.
Next step is or "DM" or visa issued. :D

Hey, yeah maybe you dont need to do anything, PPr request is yellow, but as DanSlh said your "in progress" came after the ppr, the color switched. I think the PPR state/color should take priority in the case, hence it should be yellow. That being said you still dont need to do anything as the sheet switches the colors automatically. Cheers

You are right! I thought the PPR takes priority. But next update would fix it :)

Maybe it depends on which embassy your process was sent for stage 2.
Some VO like Manilla asks for passport soon after the file is filed for AoR2.
She is from Brazil (like me, as well) and they send PPR at the very end of the process. :D

Ah! It all makes sense now. I thought always when they ask for pp that means they are about to issue the visa. Thanks for the explenation!
