can anyone provide me with their phone number I will call and check I am inside Canada please help here
It's definitely the time to kick up a fuss. If you have no luck on the phone, call your MP.

How long does it usually take for them to "receive" the medicals? I got my SA on March 31st and it is just stuck at "application received" I'm assuming, like everything else CIC does, there is really no rhyme or reason for any of this..? :p

Generally, it's 4 working days. Friday and Monday were holidays, so it should be today or tomorrow.

I got my SA March 15 and until now they haven't change status yet on Ecas to medical received. All medical was done prior on sending my app. So to answer your question, i think it'll actually depends on the officer or cic whos handling the file. and based on the spreadsheet not everyone receives it yet.

What is AOR 2? And who recieves it? The sponsor or applicant?

Ah ok. Thanks ccastillo and Mapleson! This process is making me so paranoid!

AOR 2 is acknowledgement receipt from the respective Visa Office who'll be handling the applicants Permanent Resident Visa Application. The applicant will received it and the sponsor will only received it if he/she has been authorized by the applicant to received information regarding his application. To keep it short if you didn't include the sponsor's name on the representative then the sponsor won't received anything from CIC.

And fyi, not all Visa Office sends AOR2 it's also a case to case basis.

Hi guys!

I added a new column on the spreadsheet for Ecas Status for PR applicant.

Feel free to add your status! 8)

Does anybody think it's weird or does anyone think it's necessary for me to contact someone about still not being able to log onto ecas? I already received AOR2, but for some reason i still can't log on. Not sure if it's even worth the hassle... Any suggestions?

Really? Processing time for Manila is like 17 months according to CIC.

Some spousal visas get issued in as early as 6 months actually. But most of them get issued in about 8-10 months (based on me looking on most applicants' timeline).

Check this out to get an in-depth explanation of the processing times:

I got mine 31 March, I understand how hard it is missing your wife. Did you call the CIC?

I'll call them tomorrow. E-Cas is still showing 'in process'. if they return the application, would they inform me by email as well? Damn...I hate Canada...

You will have SA, many people did not get an email, in this thread you will see many examples of this. You can call the CIC to put your mind at rest. If you hate Canada you could withdraw your application, I think you would only lose the application fee but you might need to check that.
