Relax guys!
At least it's not lots od days like the last 2 months.
You know, last october it was 44 days... then 55...85...89... and 90!
Seems like they are putting the situation under control.
I'll send my app in march btw.
Good luck for all of us =D

No he does not need an option C, where no option C is possible, a letter explaining your situation is acceptable. So write a letter stating that he has just started work in Canada but make sure to include an employment letter and the other documents that the CIC ask for. the employment letter must have all the details asked for in the document checklist IMM5491E

Also, have a look at the website immigrationcanadapro. they have video tutorials walking you through the application forms and clearly state that a letter is perfectly acceptable if no option C is possible. I am in a similar situation to your husband and I spent about 7 months preparing my application for various reasons so I am giving you this information confident that it is accurate. However as I said, please read some websites such as the one I put above to confirm this advice.

Hi realismsleeve,

Thanks for your response and the link. Will go through the site immediately.

Exactly, this is good news, if it just increases 1 day a week then we can be very happy considering how it has been jumping in recent months. The CIC say they are working on applications from Nov 10 but we can see on the November spreadsheet they are working on dates beyond that, the process is speeding up, albeit slowly, perhaps the holiday season slows it down.

I sent mine to Mississauga in the middle of January so i think it is early for them to process it. *_*
When did you send yours?

Hi all, I'm new in this forum.

Our package arrived in Mississauga on February 9th.

VO: Hong Kong

Looking forward to hear sth back from CIC soon~

Are they only looking at NOV applications now? ::)

I've just updated the January 2015 Spreadsheet!! ;D
And I'm now wanting to boost my post counts so I can update the timeline box

If you applied in February it makes no sense to update the January spreadsheet when there is a thread and spreadsheet dedicated to February applicants.....

sorry is that a thread for Feb applicants already? I tried searching for it and couldn't find. Forgive me on that! Just thought it makes no harm... ;)
