Guys, i'm kind of worried, but not as worried as i was before. I still havent received any mail regarding our case. However, I can already log into my ECAS, and I'm aware of the fact that I have already been approved as a sponsor. . Though, would anything happen if i did not receive an actual email? Is it possible for the agents to send me the email?

You and I have the same problem. We both have SA but were mailed the confirmation letter, not emailed.

When I called them this past Monday they told me that I have to wait until after April 21st to call again at which time I can request that they EMAIL me the SA confirmation. They would not put in a request for a "replacement" email despite that fact that our communication should have been by EMAIL, as per the stated preference on the application forms we submitted.

I suggest you wait for the 4 weeks from the date of your SA. If you haven't received the original regular mail letter then call in and request the email.

...just my 2 cents

They may be doing others too, but I've only seen it first-hand for British and Australian applicants. I wish they would have taken my US application. Seems like Ottawa is going pretty slowly atm. Hoping for a speed-up soon!

My wife is a korean citizen but had been working in the United states for the past two years. My file has been retained in mississauga for now. So hopefully they're are processing more cases here in Ontario!

Hi All!!

This is Kevin, I've a newbie to this forum but I've logged on to this forum almost everyday. Here is my case:

CIC received my app on February 2, 2015
I've a an email from CIC on March 28th, 2015 saying they have received it.

I've seen several end of Jan 2015 applicants have received their SA, but I've not received it. I think mainly because I was working in Canada for the past three years and just returned to Canada because of Job Offer (Which was included in my application).

Just wonder if any early Feb 2015 applicants have received their SA yet? Best wish to everyone!!!

Ah, on the contrary, Mississauga DOES process stage 2 for a few lucky Brits and Australians. Three December 2014 applicants have already gotten DM from Mississauga! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14DDXQ8Svie2oQKmsbHfOzwLARTyyvSIl0wCE4KmHnmo/edit#gid=0

Interesting, perhaps bcos the UK office is backlogged, seems very decent of the CIC to process those cases in Mississauga then.

what is the processing time for Mississauga then for stage 2?
Sao Paolo is average 8 months which is very quick, you seem optimistic that it will be done in 2, from what I can tell a good application is done much faster than the listed waiting time, about half that time. I am hoping for a very quick process in Israel (9 months) where also one man was done in 2 months. We are both lucky, Brazil and Israel have very good reputations and are quick.

Hey..
Seeing some timelines, Mississauga looks like 1~2 months.
And I can say the same thing abour Brazil.
I've met some applicants from Brazil, from differente times who took about 45 days to get all done :D

Yes I also think Brazil will be very quick, I am quietly confident that Israel will be 2-4 months also. good luck!

We got our SA last night by email, 2 April. Looks like our application is going on to Ottawa, rather than Vienna as we had expected.

My partner is Australian, but we live in the Netherlands at the moment, so assumed our application would go to Vienna.

I tried several times and the information is correct :o
