Finally got to see my ECAS, it says sponsorship status is still " In Process" ...........even tho I got my SA already... may be ECAS status is catching up next week.

It came 7 days after the AOR, and 69 days after application was received. They're moving along nicely, eh? ;D

Same here.. Jan 16th applicant.. :-( we filed our application through immigration consultant, just wondering if they will email us aor and sa directly or through our immigration representative..

if you submitted a notice of represenative form, all communication from CIC generally goes to the person you authorized to receive communication on your behalf.

So thats it.. I guess I will still have to wait till SA. Our representative told us that they will contact us if my husband has been approved. Still waiting... Thanks

i don't think that's true. i thought if a represenative was assigned, they would receive the information. generally, with attorneys that's how it works. please keep us updated if you receive the communication or your representative does.

What happened?!?!?! What happened to their compassion for those stuck in the 16-18 week queue for reports directly from the FBI?

I thought I'd post it here in case some of you don't see the other thread.

We used a third party because it seemed as though the CIC recommend it to save time when we were filling out our application. They've changed their tune. Time to get the fingerprints done again, I guess.

Hi Everyone!!!

Our immergration rep just emailed us ... We have recieved AOR!!! (app recieved by CIC on Jan 16) Fingers crossed for SA!!! Thank you to everyone who replied to my question regarding income for SA...it has eased our fears a bit but you still never know until they say yes! Positive thoughts for everyone here!!

Hi! I am just wondering, what does your ECAS say about your application?

We have already received AOR and SA.

Currently it says under Sponsorship Application Status: Decision Made
Under Permanent Residence Application Status:
1.We received (name)'s application for permanent residence on (date).

2. Medical results have been received.

I hope you could share too what's on your ecas! I am wondering what's next. BTW, i cannot view this using my name, but using my sponsor's name, i can.
